49ers win! The last regular season game at Candlestick, "The Pick at the Stick"

The last regular season 49ers game at Candlestick park was this past Monday. It was one of the top games I've seen at the stadium with the 49ers winning in historic fashion. What an awesome game.

I got this photo off twitter, some dude took it in the parking lot.

Before the game, the 49ers hooked us up with a pre-game tailgate party in a tent with free food and drinks.  They also had a DJ with a dance floor.  49ers players from previous seasons mingled with everybody too.

Pre-game tailgate tent.

Former 49ers Wide Receiver J.J. Stokes hangs with the fans.

Sarah is afraid of escalators, calling them "death traps" so we had to take the stairs. Normally I would force her on the escalator and tell her to "chill the fuck out" but that would lead to a snowballing of conflict that would last throughout the game. So I played along and agreed that taking the stairs is a great idea. Hell, we could use the exercise.
Here she is in front of this dangerous apparatus.

Escalators, a rational fear.

When we got to our seats, there were colored sign boards attached. You hold them up after the 1st quarter, which made the picture below in the stands.

I thought the Niners would win by a blowout, but the Falcons played tough, hanging in till the 4th quarter, which led to one of the best plays in 49ers history. Navarro Bowman returning an interception for a touchdown to put the nail in the coffin. The crowd was going crazy.

After the game, Dwight Clark, Jerry Rice, Steve Young and Terrell Owens addressed the sold out crowd.
Rice on the big screen.

Below are my seats, and if I want, I can pay 600 bucks to have them shipped to me before they demolish the park. I took a picture to make sure I don't get ripped off and sent the wrong ones.

Floor trash will cost extra.

After the game and the farewell celebration I lingered around for as long as possible trying to soak in some final memories. There is a small chance of the Niners playing another game at Candlestick so the cops wouldn't let anyone near the field.  So we just hung out and took pictures.

At halftime, they spray pained the spot of "The Catch" and they will be cutting out the sod and transferring it onto the field at the new "Levi Stadium"

The last lights.

Bay Bridge, the next morning.

2013 Comedians Football League Awards

The 2013 Comedians Football League Season came to a close on Saturday, December 21st.
Our year end awards ceremony took place at the very average "Corky's Diner" in the shadow of the 405 and 101 freeways in smog filled Van Nuys.

We'll have 8 waters please.

Lets meet the Winners!

Most Hungover: Mike
Hungover, but never "hung" Mike rocks his wife beater and blank stare on and off the field.

Male Enhancement Award: Bob
This was Bob's last game, as he is moving to Kansas City.
His dedication to Comedy Football and his "Viagra type Vibe" will always be remembered by the fans.
Bob's middle name is "Male Enhancement"

Most Offensive: Rose
This "Team Mom" and part time Janis Joplin impersonator, keeps spirits high
with her orange slices and sausage links from "Ralphs"

Worst Attendance: Dan
When Dan is not doing anything else, he is attending football
about 3 times a year. Still eating salad because he is still delusional about being an "actor".

Magic Fingers Award: Joe
This "I'm eating Pussy" pose that Joe is doing is the most personality that he has shown all year.

Creepist Defense: Coconut George
Nicknamed 'Coconut" because of his resemblance to the terrible boyfriend kid in the movie "The Decendants"

Least Improved: Skye
The class clown, if you were in "Asshole Class"
Phillip Seymor Hoffman hat sold separately.

2013 MVP (that is white) : Chris
Showing up to play every Saturday, still working out his High School Football issues.

2013 MVP (that is black) : Kamar
Too good to be playing with us.

This fantastic group of losers had a great year and split the check 8 ways.
Our soggy playing field, full of used firecrackers and dog shit has given us many great memories.
And will continue to do so in 2014.

Trophy's courtesy of a local garage sale.
We play every Saturday at 10am at Van Nuys/Sherman Oaks field in Van Nuys.
All are welcome, but usually only the same losers "winners" show up!

See you in 2014!

Prestige Holiday Party 2013

The Prestige Talent Agency Holiday party was this past week.
As you can see, my agent Jay Schachter likes to mingle with Rowdy Roddy Piper without me!

But that's okay,  I went and hung out with Steven Williams aka "Creighton Duke" from the movie "Jason goes to Hell".

and the guy from "Jaws 2"
Below is Creighton Duke in action!  On the trail of Jason Voorhees.

49ers pound the Seahawks! 12/8/13

Finally! The Niners pound the Seahawks.
Below is a photo of me chilling in a special room at the stadium before the game. Free chips and salsa, hot dogs and booze.  The only thing missing was a Sasquatch and some Guns n Roses.

Up inside Candlestick, behind the suites they have cool pictures up in the hallways.

Jerry Rice breaking the all time touchdown record.

A panoramic view of what Frank Gore sees when he takes the field.

Here is a shot of the mad dash to the field after the Niners won.

Me and the Birdman had a blast at the game. He managed to smoke about 30 cigarettes throughout the "Smoke Free" stadium.

Check out this guys tats! Some lucky girl gets to be boned by this champion!

This was one of the best games I've been to at Candlestick. After Frank Gore hit that big 51 yard run. They played "Welcome to the Jungle" over the speakers and the place went nuts!

Only one more regular season game left at the best stadium in the NFL!

11/30/13 Bigfoot Discovery Museum in Santa Cruz

If you watch the show "Finding Bigfoot" then you may recognize the Bigfoot Discovery Museum pictured below. It was featured this season and is the creation of longtime Sasquatch enthusiast Mike Rugg. Time to go check it out.
Busy day, all 3 parking spots were full.

I had never been to Santa Cruz and it wasnt what I expected.  Since it's known as a surfing town with a beach type vibe, I didn't think it would be so far up north. Its about a 4.5 hour drive from L.A.
Santa Cruz is south of San Francisco, but it has a vibe of the Pacific Northwest.
We made a pit stop in the redwoods before going to the museum.

There are over 15 Sasquatch hiding in this picture.

Now its time to head to the Museum. I wasn't expecting much, because on the show the Museum looked pretty small. But they actually got a lot of cool shit packed into such a little place. And no Bigfoot Museum would be complete without life size statues out front.

No snuggling with the statues allowed.

Inside the Museum is an A to Z history of Bigfoot. Documenting its place in news and pop culture. They had a glass case of some toys representing them through the years along with different pictures, articles, gadgets and other useless bullshit to fill the place. But a lot of children come to the museum so you have to keep them happy.  But how bout something for the "Man Children!"

Reading a National Enquirer from 1986
where "Burt & Lonnie" saw a Sasquatch.
After browsing a bit, I turned the corner and saw a looping video of the word famous "Patterson/Gimlin" footage. The holy grail of Bigfoot videos. I chatted with one of the guys who had just heard a Squatch this past week in the Santa Cruz mountains.

This beard is used to catch cereal milk.

The Museum started to get busy so I made my way over to the checkout counter to talk to the man himself, Mike Rugg.  Thus beginning the 420 portion of the tour. Mike had a lot of cool things to say and we talked for about an hour. He saw a Bigfoot when he was 4 years old.

I asked him what he thought about the correlation between Bigfoot sightings and people being high on mushrooms.  He confessed to being high basically 25 hours a day.

Mike shows me a Sasquatch tooth.
In all seriousness, the Bigfoot Discovery Museum rules and if you're ever in Santa Cruz make sure to swing by and say hello to Mike & the gang.  They're super nice and have a ton of stuff that verifies the existence of our "Hairy Friends", and I don't mean the employees.
