More fun facts about the O.J. Simpson murders.

I'm obsessed with the OJ Simpson murders. With "The People vs OJ Simpson" and  ESPN's "O.J Made in America" coming out this past year I've been in hog heaven. In addition to the documentaries, I also watch every special, read every book, do online research and talk about it constantly.  I also live near where it happened. My wife wonders why it takes me an hour to pick up milk, because I usually take a detour to swing by the murder location on my way back.

Here are a few things I thought were interesting that were left out of the two television series.

1. The last movie that O.J. watched before murdering was "GHOST" - the Patrick Swayze / Demi Moore movie about passion and murder. Police found it in his VCR.

2. When O.J. returned to his house after the freeway Bronco chase, he asked police if he could have a glass of Orange Juice in his kitchen before officially turning himself in. Hopefully he didn't brush his teeth first!

Priorities

3. Fred Goldman (father of Ron) is now a real estate broker in Peoria, Arizona and refuses to accept my Facebook friend requests!  Fred's mustache is now over 9 feet long.

4. We all know that Nicole had an affair with Raiders/Chiefs running back Marcus Allen. But she also slept with him again a few days before she was murdered. (Cripes lady!!!) Also, Marcus was recently married and his wedding was actually held at O.J's Rockingham Estate.   Nicole had said his dong was the size of a large piece of driftwood.  Her words, not mine.

Ouch! 

5. The prosecution botched or overlooked numerous pieces of evidence in the trial. But the most damming piece of evidence that could have sealed the deal on Simpson was a fingerprint on Nicoles back gate that mysteriously never got logged into evidence, even though it was recorded by Mark Fuhrman in his notes before he passed it on to the Robbery/Homicide division.  I think that was what they call a "run on" sentence, but I don't know how to fix it!

6. Nicole was deathly afraid of Frogs. Coincidentally O.J had just recently filmed a television pilot called "The Frogmen" for NBC.  His character name was John "Bullfrog" Burke.  When Nicole found out about the pilot she got all weird and over reacted. .... I'm assuming.

Its like Baywatch, with frogs. 

7. The night of the murders, O.J. had flown to Chicago. When he returned to L.A. the next morning, Chicago police searched the hotel and nearby fields for any murder weapons he may have discarded. He was an immediate suspect.
My guess is that he actually put the knife in a duffle bag and dumped it in a garbage can outside of LAX.  Or he took a dump in a duffle bag at LAX.  One or the other.

8. Nicole hated Kato Kaelin who she had actually met first in Aspen. Kato did a brief stint helping Nicole with the kids. When things went sour between them he moved in with O.J.
Nicole repeatedly told O.J. to get rid of that freeloader.

9. O.J. had a shovel and garbage bag in the back of his Bronco the night of the murders. Which could of meant he planned on killing Nicole and burying her, but was interrupted by Ron Goldman. Or he was taking up gardening.

10. Ron Goldman was on an episode of STUDS in 1992
