The first thing I did when I moved to Los Angeles 10 years ago was go to the "Halloween" 25 years of Terror Convention in Pasadena. I had barely unpacked when I went over to the convention center to pay 30 bucks to stare at and have awkward conversations with my favorite stars from the "Halloween" films.
The tradition continues! Because here are some photos from this past weekends "Halloween" 35 years of terror convention!
*at this pace, I should reach the maturity of a 17 year old by the time I am 50!

Michael Meyers try's to cut through my double chin! |
This year I dropped $120 bucks at the convention, which in hindsight may have been a mistake, I could have used that money to update my hairdo from 1995.

Did I mention that kick ass producer/director Steve Miner was there? Steve was the Associate Producer on "Friday the 13th" and he Directed "Friday the 13th part 2" "Friday the 13th part 3" and "Halloween H2O". He currently directs the show "Switched at Birth". He brought a lot of cool photos and I got a rare photo of himself and the crew from "Friday the 13th part 3".

These conventions are great, but sometimes it feels like your browsing a used car lot. Most of the celebs are selling stuff and this is now how they make a living. It's hard to tell a guy who only had 1 line in "Halloween 3 "Season of the Witch" that you don't want to pay 20 bucks to get a picture taken with him. So for a lot of the "stars" I avoid eye contact and leave them alone to question their life's decisions.
They also sell weird clothes there, as you can tell by the "Frankenstein Flannel" below. We were looking at and rolling our eyes when a vendor approached and said "that flannel is %100 built to last and is double layered" ... WELL THAT CHANGES EVERYTHING! I'n that case I'll take 2!
