San Francisco Comedy - "The Hearth"

If your in San Francisco, "The Hearth" is a great bar to check out. A famous pub in the Richmond district, that is home to a fantastic comedy show.

I got a chance to perform with this crew and it was a great show from beginning to end.  I will definitely be going back.  Thanks Meredith!

Jim, Tammy, myself, Meredith and 2 more comics.
An awesome crowd and super friendly staff and comics. If your a comedian in the neighborhood or just looking for a great place to hang, make sure to stop by and say hello.

"The Hearth" is located at 4701 Geary Blvd. (between 11th and 12th ave)

Candlestick Park

The 49ers let the season ticket holders come down to Candlestick for a special event this past weekend.  Here are a few photos.

The lockers of Kaepernick, Gore and Davis.
I tried like 8 times to touch the bar, it never happened.
A Harbaugh impression in the locker room.
The cheerleaders stopped by.
Some sourdough buns.
Coach wanted to do some drills.
I was dressed for the occasion.

Some classic photos were on display.
Original lockers of Joe Montana and Steve Young.
No sign of any jock straps.

Candlestick Park locker room video tour

The 2013 season is the last year the San Francisco 49ers will be playing at Candlestick Park. Next year they move south to Santa Clara and after this season, the stadium will be demolished.

I was lucky enough to get a tour of the locker room and was given complete access to the field to fuck around on. I'll have plenty of pictures posted soon.  But here is a quick video of the locker room in the meantime.  This video shows the first level of the locker room which was used during the 1980's and 90's. During this time, the 49ers shared a locker room with the San Francisco Giants, so it was much smaller.  But football legends like Joe Montana, Jerry Rice and Steve Young all called it home.  Now that the Giants have moved out of Candlestick, the Niners have the full locker room to themselves which will be shown in more pictures and video that I'll post soon.

July 13th & 14th - Hollywood Stars Convention

I went with "Jaws 2" alum Gary Dubin to the Hollywood Stars convention at the Westin Hotel near LAX.  Its a fucking blast.  Here are some pictures with the usual sarcasm.

Promotional consideration paid for by the Westin Hotel.
Me and Drea from SOA.
Dubin bombards me with all of his promotional photos that he autographs.
The "Jaws" gang,  Susan Backlini (Jaws first victim),
Jeffrey Kramer (the deputy) and Gary ("Eddie" in Jaws 2)
Gary was also in the original "Planet of the Apes" -
above is a special photo shoot with the cast members
who came out for the convention.
The fans were going bananas.
Gary also played "Toulouse" the cat in the original Disney Film "The Aristocats"
One of the last films that was actually "hand drawn"
A Disney Animator stopped by and had him sign a picture.
Hanging with the Jaws crew.
The SOA crew was mobbed all day by the excited fans.
One of the original "Apes" performs some magic.
Not sure if that was requested,
or if he just thinks he is at a kids birthday party.
Pete Rose, no relation to Axl.
Verne Troyer "Sexts" with some of his fans.
Star Trek's Nichelle Nichols nods off while signing a picture of Zoe Saldana.

Some "Jaws" storyboards.
Gary gets interviewed by V.I.P. TV,
which I think is the #1 public access show in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Lawrence Monoson from "Friday the 13th part 4", "Mask"
and "The Last American Virgin"
A fan asked Drea to hold her Werewolf Baby.
Yes, that's normal.

Kudos to the Hollywood Stars convention for getting all of these stars together under one roof,
and for keeping them sober for almost 24 hours!

July 7th - Birthday Party

File this under "Things you could probably care less about" ...
I had my annual birthday party at the Rainbow Room on Sunset Blvd. last week. A lot of great friends came out and the Rainbow is always a killer place for a party. I usually have everyone in the classic "November Rain" booth inside the restaurant but this year we reserved the patio.
I bet your rolling your eyes at how exciting that is.

Here are a few pictures from the party.

Hicks, Dubin, and Gehrt

Ed, Harmony and Feuerberg.
Ed is pretty excited, he doesn't go to many parties.
Here comes the cake. Birdman looks excited.
Blowing out the candles.
Everyone is curious to see what this gift is ....
It's the Friday the 13th porn!  Thanks WOB!

Bob, KP and Creepster touch each other under the table.
The Birthday party soundtrack.
Some required reading ... The "Jaws 2" log.
WOB, Adler and Craig have nothing in common.
I can just imagine the awkward conversation!

Somebody threw my action figure into the cake.
Not cool!
