Flashback Friday - A Nightmare on Elm Street part 2

I re-watched "A Nightmare on Elm Street 2" the other night. It kind of blows. As a kid, I remember staring at this poster on the theater wall of the Valley Fair Mall. The TV commercials were scary too, with Freddy jumping up and attacking people at the pool party, it was destined to give me nightmares. But watching it as an adult, manchild its kind of lame. It wasn't scary and had a a ton of non sensical moments. Also, whoever edited this movie sure phoned it in. I've seen better cuts on public access.  The best part of the movie is seeing shots of the L.A. suburbs in the 80's, but I can get from the "Karate Kid."

*On a side note, "Elm Street 2" is known for being the gayest of the series. With a ton of homosexual overtones and plenty of butt cheeks, Freddy should have been played by Harvey Milk. So I guess it was ahead of its time.
Maybe Fred will leave Elm Street and move to 1428 Santa Monica Blvd.
He'll have to cut the sleeves off his sweater though.   One, Two, Freddy's cuming on you.
